The Society for Testing and Research of Materials and Structures of Serbia (DIMK Serbia), headquartered in Belgrade at 9/1 Kneza Miloša Street, represents one of the oldest and most significant professional associations in the field of civil engineering in Serbia. Founded back in 1952, this society brings together experts in the testing of construction materials, structural analysis, and the application of modern technologies in construction.

Its core activity is connecting science and practice through the work of a professional association that enables the exchange of knowledge between researchers, university professors, engineers, and representatives of industry. DIMK Serbia actively contributes to improving the methodology of testing materials and structures, as well as to the application of modern standards and technical regulations in civil engineering. The society’s particular importance is reflected in the fact that it brings together experts from various faculties, primarily civil engineering and technical faculties, but also from institutes and companies engaged in design, construction, and quality control of buildings.

One of the key activities of DIMK Serbia is the organization of scientific-professional meetings, congresses, and international symposia, which represent a central meeting point for domestic and foreign experts. The goal of these events is to present the latest research, exchange experiences, and improve cooperation between science and industry.
