The Society for Testing and Research of Materials and Structures of Serbia (DIMK Serbia) and the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, University of Niš, in cooperation with the Serbian Chamber of Engineers, are organizing the scientific and professional conference:

Design, Construction and Condition Assessment of Building Structures in Accordance with Current Regulations and Standards

About the conference

The conference is dedicated to advancing knowledge and exchanging experience among researchers, designers, contractors, supervising engineers, experts in the condition assessment of structures, and representatives of the construction industry and relevant institutions, with a focus on modern approaches, regulatory requirements and practical experience in this field.

Special attention will be given to the application of modern non-destructive testing methods in the condition assessment of building structures, the estimation of in-situ compressive strength of concrete for assessing the load-bearing capacity of existing structures, and the planning and implementation of interventions on structures to ensure their safety, durability and functionality.

A conference on the same topic was held on 17 April 2026 at the IMS Institute in Belgrade, attended by 134 representatives of the scientific and professional community. Read the report from the Belgrade conference.
